APIdays Paris just closed its doors yesterday, after two intense days of conference on the theme of automating IT, business and the whole society with APIs. I particularly enjoyed the show and the flawless organization, as well as the many opportunities to meet and discuss with actors of the API ecosystem.
Our chief geek, Jérôme Louvel, talked about the state of Web API languages:
Restlet’s API mad scientist, Jonathan Michaux, presented about the differences and challenges of public and private APIs:
On my side, I was happy to participate in a round table on API documentation with Arnaud Lauret and Medhi Medjaoui (organizer of APIdays) as moderator.
I also worked with Allan Denis from Streamdata.IO, our partner, on “polling citizens”, featuring a Google Sheets baked API on APISpark with a realtime visualization thanks to Streamdata. You can have a look at the workshop material on Github, if you want to reproduce it on your own.
Thanks a lot to all the participants that stopped by our booth those past two days, to come and chat about their projects and our products. We’re looking forward to keeping in touch!
